Cathy serves as Director of the Department of Library, Arts, and Culture for the City of Long Beach. She brings to more than 25 years of experience in public libraries, with over five years as Manager of Branch Library Services for Long Beach Public Library overseeing the operations of its 11 neighborhood libraries. As Director, she oversees the Long Beach Public Library system as a whole, including Billie Jean King Main Library, the neighborhood libraries, and Library programs and initiatives, operations, budget, staffing and partnerships.
