Support Information and Giving Levels
The Library Foundation provides support and oversees programs designed to
promote literacy, academic success, self-help learning and free access to
current technologies. Funds are raised each year to support Homework Helpers in each neighborhood library Family Learning Center, programs such as Raising A Reader Long Beach, Dictionary Day, Long Beach Reads One Book, Foundation operations and much more. One-time gifts and pledges are accepted. No gift is too small.
 CORPORATE
GIVING:
MAJOR FAMILY LEARNING CENTER SPONSOR -
ONE YEAR
$25,000
Funds one of our twelve Family Learning Centers for one
year. Provides software, computer access and Homework Helpers training and
wages. Sponsor's name will be prominently displayed on library signage
throughout the year.
LITERACY PROGRAM GRANT
$10,000
Corporations can become co-sponsors of a Family Learning
Center and/or help support our Raising A Reader program. Support at this
level will focus on specific costs such as software, computer leases,
Homework Helpers and/or Raising A Reader Kits.
INDIVIDUAL GIVING:
The
following gifts help the Foundation with our greatest needs and will be
recognized in our newsletter. All donations are tax deductible,
and will be acknowledged with a thank-you letter. Gifts may also be made
in honor or in memory of another individual.

$10,000 and greater.
BIBLIOPHILE - $5,000-$9,999
PUBLISHER -
$1,000-$4,999
BOOKEND -
$500-$9,999
AUTHOR - $250-$499
BOOKLOVER -
$100-$249
READER-
$50-$99

Your gift can double if you work for an employer who matches your contribution.
