A Fundraiser to Benefit the
Long Beach Public Library Foundation

A Fabulous Evening!  
On Sunday, June 28, 2009, we had our sixth annual fundraising event, Grape Expectations in the gorgeous Sculpture Garden Museum of Latin American Art. The evening featured a five course dinner with perfectly paired wines to match each sensational course. 

A Big Thank You to All Our Attendees!
With brilliant auctioneer, Randy Gordon, President and CEO of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce at the helm, we were able to raise over $25,000 in cash donations during our live auction! The proceeds from Grape Expectations support the Foundation and literacy programs such as Raising A Reader and the twelve Family Learning Centers located in each library.

Donate to our Silent Auction
Each year we depend on generous donors like you to give us items we can use in our silent, live and online auctions.  It's never too early!  We are already collecting gift certificates, travel packages, home decor items, jewelry, gift baskets, wines, gourmet items, handicrafts for our 2010 event!  If you have an item you would like to donate, please email Livi Gutman at lbpl.foundation@charter.com (or call 562-628-2441).
