Founded in 1996, the Long Beach Public Library Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that provides support to the Long Beach Public Library through the procurement of private funds.

The Library Foundation provides support and oversees programs designed to promote literacy, academic success, self-help learning and free access to current technologies. The Library Foundation is not a United Way agency and relies entirely on private gifts from individual donors, corporations, foundations and planned gifts. Click here to see how you can support us.

We are in need of silent auction items!  Please contact us if you would like to make a donation.  We are collecting:

- Bottles of Wine, Winery Tours
- One-of-a-kind, handmade Items (Clothing, jewelry, art etc.)
- Rare, first edition and autographed books
- Travel packages, mileage, vacation homes
- Unique experiences (Plane flights, ride-alongs, parties etc.)
